Breastfeeding education session
SERVICE ONE and the National Health Co-op will be co-hosting a breastfeeding education session presented by the Australian Breastfeeding Association (ABA) on Saturday 4 November.
The aim of the session is to provide expectant parents with the confidence to successfully breastfeed their babies. The session will expand on the knowledge gained at antenatal classes and provide up-to-date information and insights into breastfeeding a baby and parenting in the early days.
Parents who are currently pregnant or have recently given birth (less than 3 months ago) are encouraged to register.
Thanks to ACT Health's support of the ABA, this session is being offered at no cost for participants. Participants will also receive a 1-year membership of the ABA (normally $70).
Please note: this session is part of an evaluation program being run by the ABA; by registering for this class you agree to share your contact details with the ABA and to participate in follow-up surveys or interviews conducted by the ABA.
