Inward Payments

Attention: open in a new window. Print

An Inward Payment is an electronic transfer of funds directly credited to your account from an overseas payer. The payer sends funds in their own currency, and WUBS then converts the payment into Australian Dollars before transferring the funds to your SERVICE ONE Alliance Bank account.

Benefits of receiving money this way

  • you're not charged a beneficiary deduction fee, so you'll receive the full amount of your inward payment (see note below about fees)
  • in most cases the transaction is treated as a local transaction and no fee is charged by WUBS to process your payment
  • payments are handled by foreign exchange specialists with reliable systems to receive your payment
  • you can usually expect funds in your account within two business days of the payer making payment
  • wide range of currencies offered

How to receive an Inward Payment

  1. Use the dedicated online form (link below). Please note that by selecting this form you'll be leaving SERVICE ONE's website and be taken to the WUBS website. You'll be asked to provide some personal information as part of completing this form and this information will be used in accordance with the WUBS Privacy Policy located at the bottom of the form.
  2. When the form is submitted, you'll receive a PDF with deposit instructions. You should save this and email it to the payer.
  3. Ask the payer to give the PDF deposit instructions to their bank when sending the payment to you and make sure they deposit the funds in their local currency and not in AUD.
What fees apply on Inward Payments?
WUBS and SERVICE ONE do not charge any fees for Inward Payments. For some transactions, an overseas bank may impose a small handling charge that may reduce the final amount you receive. These fees are out of the control of WUBS and SERVICE ONE.
